Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT), in association with representatives from the UK motoring industry, is organising a driving event on Saturday 13 October 2007 in order to raise funds for brain tumour research. The event is open to members of the public.
STOP PRESS!!!!
The event is now fully booked. If you would still like to make a donation (which will not entitle you to participate in the event) please go to JustGiving to make your contribution.
What can I expect?: For your donation to the charity you will receive a full day's tuition from professional instructors in a range of vehicles supplied by the I.M. Group (principally Subaru). You will be shown and will then apply different driving techniques on four different circuits. The event will include a buffet lunch and afternoon tea. In addition, there will be an opportunity to participate in an auction of fabulous motoring related prizes donated by the UK automotive industry. The minimum age for participation in the event is 18.
When is it?: Saturday 13 October 2007
What location?: Prodrive's development facility near Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
What's the cost?: We are asking for a minimum donation of £200 for the full day's activities (exc.auction/raffle). You are of course welcome to make a larger donation. In addition, you may wish to consider an allowance for auction/raffle prizes should you wish to participate. Please note that all proceeds from the day will go directly to funding brain tumour research.
